Comedian Sinbad's Family Confirms He Suffered a Stroke — See Their Statement

"A Different World" star Sinbad recently suffered a stroke, and according to a statement from his family to the Associated Press, the actor is well on the road to recovery.

Popular comedian Sinbad recently suffered a stroke, but fortunately, he is making a quick recovery. This news was confirmed by his family in a statement which was sent to The Associated Press. It described Sinbad as a source of love and joy for many generations.

The family noted that as the actor continues to recuperate, they are hopeful that he will soon be back to bring laughter into the hearts of many. The statement concluded with gratitude to fans for their love and support.

The news of Sinbad's health comes only a few days after he celebrated his 64th birthday. To mark the special occasion, the actor was met with warm tributes from his two children, Paige and Royce.

Taking to Instagram, Royce shared a picture of himself with Sinbad and accompanied the adorable image with a sweet caption that read: "Happy birthday, dad! Love you! ??❤️ @sinbadbad"

There, he acted as Coach Walter Oakes and has earned recognition for his other performances over the years.

On the other hand, Paige shared a series of throwback pictures featuring the ace actor. She accompanied the snapshots with a lengthy tribute where she described Sinbad as her best friend.

Sinbad shares Paige and Royce with his wife, Meredith Fuller, with whom he first tied the knot in 1985. The couple divorced in 1992 but got married again ten years later.

Sinbad is best known for his role in the 1987 sitcom "A Different World." There, he acted as Coach Walter Oakes and has earned recognition for his other performances over the years.
