Tyra Banks' Fans Praise Her Bold Outfits during DWTS Finale — See Their Comments
Ahead of this week’s “Dancing with the Stars” finale, Tyra Banks’ shared a social media video showing off her outfit. She also posted images of the very first dress she wore for the press, and fans couldn’t help but praise her.
Before “Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)” aired its finale on Monday, November 23, 2020, the show’s host Tyra Banks shared the outfit she would be wearing. In the slow-motion clip, she appeared in what seemed to be a parking lot.
She twirled around and lifted parts of the fluffy blue dress for the camera. The season 29 host wore big shiny silver earrings with her outfit and seemed to be sporting some makeup as well.

The caption on her post urged fans to tune in on the day to see her in her garment on the finale. On Tuesday, she also took to Instagram to share three images of the golden gown she appeared in for press shots.
It also happened to be one of the dresses she appeared in on the finale. She revealed in the caption of the post that the dress was designed by none other than Michael Costello.

Someone else commended the DWTS host for doing her job well on the finale. The follower shared with the star that the model was one of the main reasons the fan watched the dance competition.
Although a lot of people had positive responses to Banks’ looks, not everyone liked her blue puffy dress. One fan tweeted an image of the model wearing the dress during the finale and compared the garment to Swiffer's cleaning products.

The follower joked that the outfit could really clean her floors. Another follower thought the dress was just ridiculous and shared that the gown looked like a giant blue bathtub loofah instead of a classy and elegant dress for the dance competition.
During a recent interview with “Parade” Tyra Banks revealed that she actually liked the outfits she wore on DWTS.
Someone else also complained about the gown and speculated that the dress appeared as if Banks, 46, was trying to hide a pregnancy. Another DWTS fan made fun of the outfit joking that the gown was perfect for cleaning their house for Thanksgiving.

The person also wondered if the DWTS host was available on Wednesday night for a special appearance. The fan teased that he hoped she could make it with her feather-duster-looking blue dress.
Social media users also mocked her choice of headwear for the finale by comparing it to the Statue of Liberty and "Mortal Kombat." This wasn’t the first time that Banks has been criticized for her fashion choices since taking over the hosting duties on DWTS.
However, during a recent interview with “Parade”, the model revealed that she actually liked the outfits she wore on DWTS. She confessed to the magazine that she loved her DWTS dresses more than the ones she wore while hosting “America’s Next Top Model.”
One of her many looks on the dance competition included a tribute to Minnie Mouse for the show’s annual Disney Night. The star wore a short red polka-dot dress with a caped back along with sparkly mouse ears.
For ’80s Night, she changed into three different costumes. One of the looks was a glittery green jumpsuit that was completed with a yellow bucket hat for her to appear as an 80’s rapper.
Banks took over her role this year from longtime hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. She also signed on with ABC to an executive producer on the fan-favorite dance competition.
