Prince Harry's decision not to comment on the inquiry has led many to reflect on the speculations of a rift between him and his brother Prince William.
According to royal historian Robert Lacey, the tension between Prince Harry and Prince William existed before Prince Harry's romance with Megan Markle, but her arrival did worsen it.
Lacey also claimed that both brothers had been damaged by their upbringing, especially the loss of their mother. Lacey reveals that the brothers who once shared a close bond growing up have become torn apart in recent times.
According to reports, Prince William once said to close friends that he was not going to be there for his brother Prince Harry like he used to following Prince Harry's rift with the royal family.
Since distancing themselves from the Royal family, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have lived in the United States and continued in charity works in hopes of keeping the legacy of Princess Diana alive. Fans of the royal family would be hoping that the brothers can resolve their perceived differences in time.
