Watch Derek Hough & Hayley Erbert Turn the Ballroom Upside down with Their Fiery Holiday Dance
Derek Hough brought all the holiday cheer the wanted, and much more when he lit up the dance floor for the second time with a performance alongside Haley Erbert on "The Disney Holiday Singalong."
Professional dancers Derek and Haley Erbert became known for their dance moves on "Dancing with the Stars," dance moves they used to bring cheer this holiday season.
On Monday night, Derek and Haley took to the stage and entertained with the superbly choreographed number for "The Disney Holiday Singalong," shortly after Derek performed the opening number with Julianne Hough for the Thanksgiving airing of "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration."

WHY THEY DECIDED TO PARTICIPATE
The Houghs were the original hosts of "The Wonderful World of Disney" celebration when it started five years ago, and apart from performing, they hosted the annual event again this year. Their decision to participate in the specials was an easy one, as Julianne explained before the celebration aired:
"I feel like we need some holiday cheer, some Disney cheer, some performances. And people coming together and unifying during this time."
THE SINGALONG DANCE
For Derek and Haley's appearance on "The Disney Holiday Singalong," the professional dancing couple kicked off their routine in bed wearing Christmas-themed pajamas to "Hey Santa" and "Jingle Bells."
Derek feels like it's "the right time" for the change in his life. Especially now that there is an air of uncertainty about upcoming procedures.
Costume changes, various dancing styles, flips, and intricate dance steps followed among big decorated Christmas trees. It even featured a mirrorball shaped like Mickey Mouse's ears.
ON THE OTHER SIDE
When not spreading holiday cheer on the dancefloor, Derek Hough is a busy man. Apart from his judging duties on another popular dancing competition show called "World of Dance," the six-time "DWTS" champion now also joined the ABC show as a judge alongside Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Ready for the challenge, Derek feels like it's "the right time" for the change in his life. Especially now that there is an air of uncertainty about upcoming procedures. With social distancing regulations in place, "DWTS" had to develop ways to make filming work while adhering to protocols.
ON THE PERSONAL SIDE
However, Derek Hough does not think that it's the right time to propose to his girlfriend and fellow dancer Haley just yet. The adorable couple was asked the question by fans during a Q&A, and a firm "no," settled the matter for the time being.
Since rumors swirled that Derek planned on popping the question after the final of the last season of "DWTS," the couple confirmed that such a display is not their style.
