Kaavia is Union and Dwyane Wade's first child together. They welcomed her in November 2018 via surrogacy. Wade is also father to daughter Zaya and two other boys, Zaire and Xavier.

At the time of Kaavia's birth, Union took a lot of criticism from a majority of her fans who thought she should not be acting like she actually delivered Kaavia when the opposite was the case.

Their decision brought forth Kaavia, and since her arrival, she has been an endless source of joy to her parents and the entire social community at large. Fans cannot wait to see what she does as she grows older.
