Jennifer Hudson looked absolutely stunning in a white fur coat as she posed by the fireplace and Christmas decors.
Christmas is just around the corner, and many are already putting up their holiday decorations and keeping the season’s joy and spirit by posting on social media.
Jennifer Hudson is among those whose Instagram profile boasts of Christmas photos, including a performance for the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival in Chicago.
BY THE FIREPLACE
The singer recently shared yet another post with a Christmas vibe as she posed by the decorated fireplace. While sporting a gorgeous bob cut hairstyle, Hudson flashed a bright smile while looking sideways.
The “American Idol” alum looked elegant in her all-white ensemble, including a white silk dress and soft white coat. She also accessorized with a big gold chain, silver bracelets, and lots of rings.
The performer’s stunning photo attracted several praises from fans who made it rain fire and heart-eye emojis on the comments section. “Wrapped up looking like a gift,” one said.
Hudson recently made the holidays a little more exciting with a collaboration with Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande for the Christmas song, “Oh Santa,” featured in Carey’s “Magical Christmas Special.”
The “Freeway of Love” artist passed away at the age of 76 due to pancreatic cancer of the neuroendocrine type.
“I wrote ‘Oh Santa!’ for my album ‘Merry Christmas II You,’ which was sort of the follow-up to my first Christmas album,” Carey said. “It does really feel like a girl group moment. I think we all had a good time with it.”
HUDSON’S HOLIDAY FILM
Hudson, who stars as the late Aretha Franklin in her biopic, “Respect,” will also be starring in a New Line holiday film. The movie will revolve around the “Where You At” artist’s life after being mistaken for writing a Christmas hit.
Ira Madison III will be in charge of the movie’s script, while Hudson and Glickmania’s Jonathan Glickman, who produced “Respect,” will be the film’s producers.
Hudson was also an executive producer in the biopic, which had Liesl Tommy as the director. She is set to executive produce another short film in the following year, “Baba Yoga.”
A TRIBUTE TO ARETHA FRANKLIN
A few months ago, Hudson paid tribute to Franklin’s on her second death anniversary with a black-and-white Instagram post, alongside a touching caption.
Her beautiful message suggested that the iconic singer was gracing the heavens with her powerful voice, while Hudson is still missing Franklin and her singing.
The “Freeway of Love” artist passed away at the age of 76 due to pancreatic cancer of the neuroendocrine type. She battled the illness for some time before her death.
