See Gwen Stefani & Fiancé Blake Shelton's Banter Ahead of 'The Voice' Finale This Week
With the upcoming finale of "The Voice," coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may be engaged, but it didn't stop them from indulging in humorous competitive banter.
Last week saw fans of "The Voice" on the edge of their seats as the competition's top nine contestants sang their hearts out for a spot in the final five, hoping to get crowned as the winner of season 19.
With Team Gwen's Rubin Carter a fan favorite, the other four finalists are John Holiday for Team Legend, Desz for Team Kelly, while Team Blake struck it lucky with two spots in the finals.
First, Jim Ranger came through for Team Blake, followed by the wildcard save, Ian Flanigan. Feeling confident about his team's chances, Blake Shelton responded to a social media post from Stefani. Humorously, Shelton wrote:
"Don't y'all listen to @GwenStefani! The @NBCTheVoice finale is in the bag for Team Blake! Let's go @IanFlanigan and @jimranger!!! #TeamBlake #VoiceFinale."

15-year-old Rubin Carter moved Stefani to tears more than once, but it was his performance of Mariah Carey's "Hero" during the top 17 performances that made him a favorite to win this season as one fan wrote:
Bolstered with confidence and the hopes of winning her first season on "The Voice," Stefani took to social media with good-natured banter ahead of the finale and wrote:
"This week...we’re competitors can’t believe we’re already at the finale week of #TheVoice! It’s #TeamGwen for me, sorry @blakeshelton. GO @carterjrubin!! gx."
CARTER AND TEAM GWEN
When Carter Rubin first sang for the coaches on "The Voice" in July, they couldn't believe he was only 14. His rendition of the Lewis Capaldi song "Before You Go" had all the judges impressed, and it caused a tug of war.
John Legend and Gwen Stefani both wanted Carter on their team, but in the end, he chose Stefani. Since then, Carter even had Kelly Clarkson in tears when he sang "You Say" by Lauren Daigle.
No one is looking forward to the finale more than Carter Rubin, who will be performing alongside his coach during the show. With the day fast approaching, the talented youngster shared that it is a dream come true for him.
Episode after episode Carter stunned with his musical talent and ability. It earned him a steady stream of support throughout the season, and he couldn't be more grateful for the journey so far.
