Yesterday, as most parts of New York and Pennsylvania woke up to 3 feet of snow, Kotb found a creative way to turn the weather disruption into a fun day for her daughters, Hayley Joy and Hope Catherine.

The doting mother came up with snow day and shared adorable photos from the sweet moments. The four-slide upload began with a heart-melting image of Kotb and young Hope building a snowman.

The 56-year-old no doubt has a full life with her two daughters and fiancé Joel Schiffman.

The journalist was seen handing a ball of snow to her little one, who looked eager to receive it. Next was an image of only Hayley on her knees, mounting her snowman on a stick meticulously.

It was followed by an up-close look at the completed figurine with stick eyes and hands. The final slide was a short clip taking an evening stroll while giving fans a view of the snowy street.

The post was simply captioned, “happy snow day,” and the comments section was filled with heartwarming remarks about the little ones, urging Kotb to turn the images into Christmas Card photos.

The 56-year-old no doubt has a full life with her two daughters and fiancé Joel Schiffman but doesn’t mind making it fuller with the addition of another child. Earlier this year, she spoke about the possibility of a third child.

During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Kotb explained that she wasn’t totally sure about welcoming another child. However, she notices signs all around that point to that.

She recalled a profound moment when she was writing in her journal and asked herself if she and Schiffman could expand their brood. She noted that she wondered if they had enough love and time to give, and the answer was yes.

However, the renowned journalist was candid about her fears, saying that she sometimes worries about her and Schiffman’s age. Nevertheless, she believes another child might give her kids a hand to hold when they are not there.

The lovely snow photos came days after Kotb and the kids hilariously surprised colleague Al Roker with a cake and wished him a happy birthday even though it wasn’t his birthday.
