Reality television mogul Kim Kardashian-West is spreading love and joy this holiday season as she partnered with Cash App to give away $500 to 1000 people who are having a tough time.
Kim Kardashian-West is determined to make sure her fans worldwide enter the holiday season in the best of spirits. On Monday, the reality star took to Twitter to announce her decision to bless fans with $500,000. She wrote:
“Hey, guys! 2020 has been hard, and many are worried about paying rent or putting food on their table- I want to spread the love by sending $500 to 1000 people.“

In a poster shared alongside the message, the KKW Beauty founder expressed her concern about how 2020 has been challenging for many. Kardashian-West revealed she was aware that people were struggling with sorting their needs.
In October, she donated $1 million to the Armenia fund amid the nation’s conflict with Azerbaijan.
Amid the difficulties, she wanted to find a way to help people and asked her followers to send her their cashtags in the replies. In under two hours of posting, the tweet received 99,000 replies.
It has since garnered over 73,000 likes, more than 13,000 retweets. According to a spokesperson for the official partners of the giveaway, Cash App, the donation was catered entirely by the mobile payment service.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star is no stranger to giving hefty donations to help causes dear to her. In March, the mother-of-four joined the host of celebrities to provide resources to fight the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The entrepreneur pledged a whopping $1 million via an Instagram post promoting her SKIMS brand wear. In the upload, Kardashian-West noted that she would restock the collection and donate the pledged amount to mothers and children.
Her gesture was met with backlash from the internet, with many shaming her for pushing her brand and trying to profit under the guise of charity. Many fans attacked the reality star citing her impressive net worth estimated at $350 million.
However, it seems the criticism didn’t stop the 40-year-old from continuing in the spirit of charity. In October, she donated $1 million to the Armenia fund amid the nation’s conflict with Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Kardashian-West, who has Armenian roots from her late father, Robert Kardashian, shared a video of her addressing the national issue on Instagram. Other members of the Kardashian family shared similar photos on their pages.
Per reports, a total of $30 million was raised for the cause. The reality star has been vocal about her attachment to her roots and has visited the nation twice to baptize herself and her four children. Both visits were shown on the family’s famous show.
