Yahoo Entertainment hosted a virtual reunion on Monday, December 21, 2020, for some of the stars of the movie “Kindergarten Cop.” The date marked the 30th anniversary of the film’s release.

The comedy initially aired on December 21, 1990. Six members of the Astoria Elementary Kindergarten class joined in on the Zoom reunion showing that they weren’t children anymore but adults.

The actors who took part in the reunion were Miko Hughes, Christian Cousins, Brian Wagner, twins Krystle and Tiffany Mataras, and Adam Wylie. Each of the stars introduced themselves as they appeared.

They were the children who featured in John Kimble's class. Kimble’s character was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger where he was an undercover cop who posed as a teacher to catch a drug dealer.

The actors couldn’t believe what they were seeing with Hughes commenting that he never expected it. Thirty years ago he got to play the role of little Joseph alongside the famous actor, saying the line:

"It's so great to see you."

Cousins featured in the movie as Dominic, the son of the drug kingpin Kimble was supposed to save. He hilariously thanked Schwarzenegger for having saved his life from Cullen Crisp played by Richard Tyson.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s appearance came just after he had to undergo heart surgery in October 2020.

Cousins also shared that it had been a pleasure to play his role with Schwarzenegger. Showing how humble he was, the “Terminator” actor gave all the credit to the former child stars.

Schwarzenegger’s appearance came just after he had to undergo heart surgery in October 2020. The star posted on social media revealing that he had his aortic valve replaced at the Cleveland Clinic medical center in Ohio.

The medical problem has left the actor suffering from heart problems his whole life because of a congenital heart defect. Luckily, the procedure went well and the star revealed he was doing much better.
