Alicia Keys and Husband Swizz Beatz Celebrate Son Kasseem's 14th Birthday — See the Photos

Swizz Beatz recently took to Instagram sharing sweet posts in celebration of his son's birthday. The music mogul was also joined by his wife, who shared an equally heartwarming post.

Swizz Beatz's oldest son, Kasseem Dean Jr., recently turned 14, and the teenager was met with lots of love from his famous dad and stepmom Alicia Keys.

Taking to Instagram, Swizz Beatz shared a collage featuring pictures of Kasseem from childhood to recently. The doting father accompanied it with a caption wishing his son a happy birthday.

He continued by wishing Kasseem many more years of blessings and concluded by expressing love to the teenager whom he referred to as a King.

In another post, Swizz Beatz shared a series of clips from a game night held in celebration of Kasseem's special date. He accompanied it with a caption reading:

"We're all proud of you ?? Cheers to Bigger years inshallah.????"

Apart from his father's heartwarming posts, Kasseem also had an Instagram post dedicated to him by his Grammy Award-winning stepmother Alicia Keys.

Taking to her Instagram, Keys shared a series of pictures of her and Kasseem posing alongside each other. She accompanied the images with a sweet caption where she admitted that she would have his back forever.

They now maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship for their son's sake.

The singer also wished Kasseem a better year and noted that there is nothing she loves more than being his "Umi," an Arabic word for mother.

Unlike most stepparents, Keys does not like her husband's other kids calling her stepmom but prefers to be addressed as Umi. In April, the singer opened up about her reason for this.

Keys explained that she wanted her stepkids to call her Umi because she did not get the best vibes from being called stepmom and added that her little son Egypt also started calling her stepmom at some point.

The singer noted that Umi is one of her favorite words and identities. For her, being a mother is a very enlightening experience and journey.

Swizz Beatz shares Kasseem with his ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere. Though the former couple had a painful separation, they now maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship for their son's sake.

In addition to Kasseem, Swizz Beatz is also a father to four other children, with two from a previous relationship and two from his marriage to Keys.

Not many have a great relationship with their spouse's other kids, but for Keys, the singer has undoubtedly mastered being a great mom to her blended family.
