Tyler Perry's Ex-girlfriend Gelila Bekele Smiles Ear to Ear in a Gratitude Post after Their Split
Fresh from her recent split with longtime boyfriend, Tyler Perry, Gelila Bekele could not hold back her joy as she smiled from ear to ear while pouring out her gratitude in a new Instagram post.
It is a season of love, joy, happiness, and spreading all that Christmas cheer. However, entertainment mogul Tyler Perry's ex-girlfriend Gelila Bekele spreads the love all year round to the most vulnerable in our world.
Bekele was involved in several humanitarian causes throughout the year as the world scrambled to grapple with the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

Even though her personal life has been thrown into the spotlight following her recent split from longtime boyfriend Tyler Perry, she still has many reasons to be grateful.
In a recent Instagram post, Bekele brandishes a wide smile as she sits amidst some Ethiopian school children who also seem very happy to be in her company. She captioned the photo writing:
"As this year draws to a close, sending gratitude to all the incredible teachers, students, community leaders, social workers, healthcare workers...."
She looked vibrant in her white hooded top that barely covered her curly hair, and paired it with blue jeans. She concluded her post by revealing that she was eager to get back to work with her teachers and also wished her fans "Happy Holidays."
Bekele was born in Ethiopia and moved to Europe with her family when she was eight. She later relocated to the United States to attend college but was discovered as a freshman at the University of California.
All hopes of the two getting married were dashed when Perry, 51, announced last week via an Instagram post that he was single.
The Ethiopian-born beauty began her modeling career in 2006 with Ford Models. Since then, she has featured in campaigns for Levi's, Diesel, Michael Kors, and L'Oreal.
A few years into her modeling career, she began dating "Madea" creator, Perry, after they met at a Prince concert. The two later welcomed a son, Aman Tyler, in December 2014.

The duo was notoriously private about their relationship, only offering fans a glimpse into their romance on rare occasions. Still, they always looked destined to go the distance and maybe tie the knot someday.
Unfortunately, all hopes of the two getting married were dashed when Perry, 51, announced last week via an Instagram post that he was single. The filmmaker also revealed that he was going through a midlife crisis.
Sources close to the couple claim that the twosome split amicably a while ago but remain close friends. The source also told People that the two are now focused on "being the best parents they can for their son."
Meanwhile, Perry did not give any further details about the split or his "mid-life crisis." However, he seemed optimistic about the future and revealed that he would continue to trust God.
Fans can find comfort in knowing that both Perry and Bekele seem hopeful about their respective futures despite the split. However, most of their fans would love to see the couple reunited in no time.
