See Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager's Birthday Wishes to Their 'Today' Co-host Savannah Guthrie
Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager serenade their "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie with well-wishes on her special 49th birthday with heartwarming posts on social media.
Over the weekend, "Today" anchor Savannah Guthrie turned 49 years old. As expected, the big day didn't go by without a series of tributes from her beloved colleagues, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Hager Bush.
The former First daughter went first with a series of photos highlighting sweet moments she shared with her colleague. The first slide was a picture of her and the celebrant making love signs while in the studio.
It was followed by an intimate image of Guthrie holding baby Hal as she beamed at the camera and the slideshow was concluded with a playful picture of the good friends blowing kisses.
The weekend was a special one for "Today" anchors as they blessed the timeline with lovely family photos.
Hager Bush revealed that she returned from a temporary hiatus from social media to wish Guthrie a happy birthday in the accompanying caption. She then showered praises on her co-anchor, writing:
"Sometimes the world delights you with the truest of a friend who understands and loves you just as you are, who makes you better, who is a great listener..."
Hager-Bush concluded with a heartwarming story of how she and Guthrie sang Bobby McGee while their kids had a playdate before recalling her daughter Mila having a conversation with Guthrie's daughter Vale.
The 39-year-old wrote that the young girls spoke about how their mothers do the same thing before she described the birthday girl as her "soulful soul-sister" and gushed about how she loves doing things with Guthrie.
Kotb, on the other hand, kept the birthday shout out simple with a sweet selfie of her and Guthrie, who was carrying one of her daughters sweetly. She wished Guthrie a happy birthday alongside #family in the caption.
Guthrie's birthday came two days after Christmas. Hence the weekend was a special one for "Today" anchors as they blessed the timeline with lovely family photos that tugged at hearts.
Guthrie uploaded an image of herself and her husband of six years Michael Feldman sitting with their two kids, Vale and Charles, as they rocked matching black and white striped pajamas.
Kotb warmed hearts with a photo of her fiancé Joel Schiffman and their two daughters, Hayley Joy and Hope Catherine, and her mother in white and red Christmas-themed pajamas.
Hager Bush settled for an elegant Holiday card that showed her adorable family outdoors with a quote from her daughter, Poppy's favorite hymn, "All Things Bright and Beautiful."
Al Roker and his clan stunned in matching red sweaters and plaid pajama bottoms while Craig Melvin and his beautiful family settled for checked pajamas set in an intimate photo.
During the event, Kotb and Hoda spoke about the importance of family traditions amid the dysfunctionality of 2020. They also poked fun at how Rockefeller tree, with Guthrie posting a hilarious photo of the before and after.
