Tika Sumpter Reminisces about Her Fiancé and Daughter Ella-Loren Doing the Dishes Together at Home

American actress Tika Sumpter shared a little throwback picture of her daughter, Ella-Loren doing dishes with her fiancé, Nicholas James.

Tika Sumpter warmed many of her fans' hearts with a recent post on her Instagram page where she shared a throwback picture featuring her fiancé, Nicholas James, and her daughter, Ella-Loren.

In the post, Sumpter shared a picture that showed the 4-year-old Loren in the kitchen with her father. The little tot was on top of a chair, which helped her gain more height as she assisted her dad in doing the dishes.

Loren wore a brown and white sweatshirt over gray pants, while James wore a white T-shirt over black pants. The proud father and his daughter were so concentrated on the chores that they did not pose for the camera.

In the caption to the post, Sumpter expressed gratitude for welcoming the New Year with those she loves the most. She wrote:

"A little #throwback because there's no better feeling than ringing in the new year with the people I love most."

The actress's fans gushed over the picture, with many of them commenting with emojis and loving words. One fan noted that Loren had grown so big and wished the family a happy New Year.

The picture showed how Sumpter has now become comfortable with sharing photos of her man and their daughter with her fans on social media.

James proposed to Sumpter on Christmas Day in 2016.

The actress was initially coy about her private life and even kept her pregnancy a secret for seven months as she did not want people to ask her who the father was.

However, she surprised her fans in June 2017 when she shared an intimate photo of James and their daughter. James and Sumpter first met on the set of Tyler Perry's "The Haves and the Have Nots," while working up close and personal.

The couple was private about their relationship, but after welcoming Loren and becoming engaged, they changed the game. James proposed to Sumpter on Christmas Day in 2016.

She announced the proposal in January 2017 and revealed how he asked her to marry him. She said James did so many amazing things on Christmas morning.

She went on a little hunt in the house, after which he revealed that Loren had something to say to her. In Loren's hands was a beautiful letter. Afterward, James proposed to her in the simplest and most awesome manner ever.

James, Sumpter, and their adorable daughter make for an amazing family, and their fans hope they continue to have the best moments together.
