'Power' Star Naturi Naughton Engaged to Her Best Friend — See Her Huge Ring

Naturi Naughton has marked a new milestone in her life - getting engaged. The "Power" star will soon be walking down the aisle after saying yes to her best friend's wedding proposal.

Renowned R&B singer Naturi Naughton flaunted her massive diamond-encrusted engagement ring in a recent post on Instagram. She was over the moon as she gleefully captioned her post:

"Yup! I get to marry my best friend!"

Naughton is living her best life as she prepares herself for a new journey. The successful singer and actress is excited to tie the knot with the love of her life who she has not identified yet.

The engagement happened just days before Christmas. The "Power Book II: Ghost" star shared that her man made an elaborate plan to surprise her with his wedding proposal.

Naughton said that he arranged a princess-themed photoshoot for her and her 3-year-old daughter, Zuri. He even hired a glam team for her. "All I had to do was show up!" she recalled.

She recently opened up about being a single parent.

JUGGLING MOTHERHOOD AND CAREER

Naughton has been enjoying both her career and personal life. The talented singer and actress found immense success playing the role of Tasha in Starz's hit series, "Power."

In October, Naughton revealed in an interview that they were finishing up filming for "Power Book II." She recalled that they had to temporarily shut down the production because of COVID-19.

Naughton is also slaying it in the parenting department. She recently opened up about being a single parent. She said that although it entails hard work, she loves juggling career and motherhood.

The singer and actress welcomed her daughter Zuri in July 2017. She and her ex, Zuri's father, split not long after their daughter was born. Since then, Naughton has continued with her busy career.

Although she and Zuri's father, whom she only refers to as Ben, have split, they are doing well when it comes to co-parenting. She said that her daughter has been a great blessing in her life.

Back in 2019, Naughton shared her thoughts about marriage, saying she will only marry the right person, despite the pressure society puts around it. For her, marriage has to have the right foundation.
