Reba McEntire and her new heartthrob, actor Rex Linn, sure have a sweet thing going on. The lovebirds were seen having a cozy time during their first movie date in several adorable pictures.

Due to the spike in COVID-19 cases and the lockdown safety measures put in place, the cinema was more or less empty, as seen while McEntire posed with a bag of snacks in the first photo.
The second was a close-up selfie of her and her 64-year-old boyfriend with their face masks shielding their faces. The singer also held up the snack bag as they both appeared to smile.
However, they took their masks off once they got into the viewing room as they took a series of fun photos before the movie started. One was a far away shot of the 65-year-old songwriter perched comfortably in the well-lit room.
Another was a similar photo of Linn, while one showed McEntire helping herself to the large bag of buttered popcorn. There was also a cute selfie of the happy couple and a good view of their legs raised on the reclining chair while they ate.
After last year's dinner, the romance got a kickstart, and during the quarantine, they got to know each other better.
The fun movie date took place at the local AMC movie theater, and they enjoyed the private viewing of Tom Hanks's latest movie, "News of the World." The package was part of the cinema's social distancing experience due to the pandemic.
McEntire evidently had a memorable time as she followed the heartwarming photos with a short message on the experience and a hashtag of how she and Linn loved the movie.
The post came roughly a week after the singer took to her Instagram feed to share an adorable end of the year shot of her and her beau posing with her pet donkey, Poncho.
It was a group selfie of the star and Linn fully dressed as they leaned against the donkey's wooden cage rail. They both smiled at the camera, and the clueless animal was also captured in the wholesome shot.
Though the actor and McEntire clearly share a tight bond, it goes without notice that their love story officially started earlier last year after a dinner date.
They have, however, known each other for quite a while, as revealed by the singer. She explained that she met him in 1991 on the set of a movie but they had only been friends at the time.
After last year's dinner, the romance got a kickstart, and during the quarantine, they got to know each other better. Now nearly a year later, their love has grown deeper, and it is safe to say that they found a home in one another.
