Actress Angela Bassett is 62 years old but has continued to look ever so young. This is seen in the pictures she posts on social media or her public appearances.
The actress's post on Instagram on Wednesday did not stray from that standard. Bassett shared two pictures that showed her clad in a gorgeous looking outfit.
She wore a circle-printed jumpsuit that showcased her lovely figure and sexiness. Bassett rocked a black side-swept curly hairstyle and accessorized her look with big round earrings.
The actress completed her stunning look with beige heels. In the first snapshot, she posed standing on a corridor, with her hands clasped to her waist, while she rocked a slightly different standing pose in the second picture.
In the caption to the post, Bassett greeted her followers and explained that she got up at 4:30 am to do her makeup and photoshoot with her team, to who she expressed gratitude.
Her fans did not hold back from hailing her in the post's comment section, with some of them calling her a goddess, while a few others called her a dame. Another fan said she looked perfect in the snapshots.
Bassett's advice to her younger self would be to keep falling in love and keep wonder and passion alive.
Bassett's fans are used to seeing her glow, be it on the red carpet or in her Instagram pictures. The actress has made many stunning appearances on red carpet events in the past.
One such event that comes to mind is the 2019 Oscars, where Bassett looked dazzling as she stole hearts in a vibrant Reem Acra one-shoulder fuchsia gown.
Besides stealing hearts with her outfits and incredible beauty, Bassett has also amazed many in her movie roles. One of her famous roles was in the romantic drama "Waiting to Exhale," which first hit theatres 25 years ago.
In that film, Bassett worked with the great Whitney Houston and recalled the experience of doing so in a chat with ET, saying it was great getting to work with the late icon.
Bassett's most recent film is Pixar's "Soul," an animated movie in which she starred alongside Phylicia Rashad. Bassett and Rashad had a joint interview with ET last month to speak about their experience in the film.
The women also spoke about the late Chadwick Boseman, who Bassett starred with in Marvel's "Black Panther." She described him as a marvelous actor who impacted those who knew him and those who never met him.
One can say Bassett has seen it all and has many life experiences to share. In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, she said her advice to her younger self would be to keep falling in love and keep wonder and passion alive.
Bassett is married to actor Courtney B. Vance, with whom she shares twins—son Slater Josiah Vance and daughter Bronwyn Golden Vance.
