On Saturday, February 6, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was awarded one of the most prestigious NFL awards, the Walter Payton Man of The Year Award.

Ciara poured out her heart in a post that was accompanied by a photo of herself and Russell posing with the gold sportsman trophy. While she was clad in a black blazer-dress, Russell wore a black suit with a crispy white shirt. Ciara captioned:
"Your heart, dedication, and commitment to taking care of others is truly what sets you apart...You really are That Man!"
After the "I Bet" singer listed more of her husband's great qualities, she wrote that she was proud to be his wife and proud of the great father that he is to their three kids.
In his own Instagram post, Russell acknowledged the strong bond between himself and Ciara. He credited love as the reason behind his success with his caption, "Love Changes Things."
Ciara, who has been married to Russell since 2016, has proven her love and support many times during the football player's career. Whether he's winning or losing, she is always by his side.
When Russell's team played against the Los Angeles Rams during the NFL playoffs, Ciara cheered him on with the help of the kids, Future Zahir, 6, Sienna, 3, and baby Win, who all rocked matching Seahawks jackets.
Unfortunately, the Seahawks lost the playoff game but Ciara stood by Russell and penned a supportive message to him, assuring him that she was always proud of him, despite the loss.
The message, which the "Body Party" singer shared on Instagram, was accompanied by a heart-melting photo of the couple's baby boy, Win, whom they welcomed in July 2020.
To show his true sportsmanship, Russell was present at the Super Bowl LV on Sunday, February 7, at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Ciara was by his side with her statement bright pink hair.
As the Buccaneers took on the Chiefs, Russell and Ciara, wearing black facemasks, watched from a luxury suite where they were joined by the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who also rocked a black facemask.
