Tom Brady and Tyrann Mathieu are among the notable players of the two teams played at the Super Bowl 2021 on Sunday. During the game, both men had a tense exchange. Here is why.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs gave their fans an intense game during this year's Super Bowl match as they battled for the trophy.
After many throws, racing, and catches, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not disappoint their supporters as they emerged the winner with a 31-9 victory against their opponent.

The victorious team got lucky in the first half of the game following a series of penalties against the Kansas City Chief. The NFL study concerning the game detailed that the Chiefs' 95 penalty yards during the first half superseded any team's penalty yards this season.
Tyrann Mathieu, 28, happened to bag a penalty for his team over misconduct during the game. He was seen to have interacted several times with the Buccaneers star, Tom Brady, who later won MVP after the game.
Both Mathieu and Brady, 43, visibly engaged in a tense exchange that showed the former pointing his fingers at the quarterback champion.
In a since-deleted tweet, the 28-year-old addressed the awkward moments that made him receive backlash from the media. He explained that his opponent called him an unpleasant name.
It is the 43-year-old's 7th Super Bowl win, making him the only player to crash his ground-breaking record of six rings.
The Kansas City Chief kept mute about what he was called and maintained that he did not say anything provoking to Brady, whom he respects.
In an interview, Mathieu admitted that he gave his best at the game and further complimented the MVP's football talent. When it got to addressing the tense exchange during the game, the 28-year-old said "no comment."
A news source contacted Brady's camp, but they are yet to get a response. Another media house revealed that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers player sent an apology message to his opponent.
Apart from the men's altercation, another jaw-dropping moment for fans of the sport was when a fanatic ran out to the field five minutes to the end of the game.
The man was dressed in a one-piece bathing suit and shorts. As he ran towards the end of the field in the jubilation of a victorious match, the security team intercepted the fellow.
Buccaneers supporters were not the only ones celebrating the victory. Two of the team's players and longtime partners Brady and Rob Gronkowski, 31, shared a celebratory moment right after the game.
This is the pair's third Super Bowl win as teammates, but it is the 43-year-old's 7th Super Bowl win, making him the only player to crash his ground-breaking record of six rings.
