Obama shared a photo of herself with the adorable characters. One puppet is inspired by the Asian dessert Mochi, while the other is blue with white fluffy hair, which has a waffle in its fur.

She shared in the caption that the show is set to premiere in March and is something she wished was around when her own daughters were growing up. She wrote:

The show premise is that the two friends have dreams of becoming chefs. They are then employed at a magical supermarket, owned by Obama.

The two characters then go on adventures to different countries and learn about the particular country's ingredients and traditional recipes. Peru, Japan, and Italy are a few of the countries they will visit.

Obama and her husband, Barack, have been very busy post-White House.

The organization delivered fresh produce and ingredients to families in need so they could cook during the pandemic. Obama wrote about the partnership in her announcement:

"That’s why as part of the show’s commitment to helping families during the pandemic, we’re working with our partners at @PHAnews."

Her podcast "The Michelle Obama Podcast," is set to premiere on Spotify in July exclusively. It will feature Obama in personal conversations with guests about unique human relationships.
