Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently announced the news of another royal baby on the way. Harry and Markle are expecting their second child, and the Queen could not be more excited.

Queen Elizabeth and other royals are reportedly happy over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's pregnancy news. Prince Harry and his wife announced that they are expecting a new addition to their family of three on Sunday.

Shortly after revealing the great news, they received warm congratulations on behalf of the entire royal monarchy. A palace spokesman told People how the royal family received the news.

"Her Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, and the entire family are 'delighted' and wish them well," the spokesperson revealed to the outlet. The royal couple reportedly informed the rest of the family about the good news before publicly announcing it.

Prince Harry and Markle are already parents to their baby boy Archie Harrison,1 year old. The second baby on the way will be his younger sibling.

Another spokesperson of the royal couple told the outlet on Sunday that they are reportedly thrilled to be expecting their second child. The couple announced the news of their pregnancy in style.

They released a statement together with a black and white photo taken by their longtime photographer and friend, Misan Harriman. Markle was photographed laying on her spouse’s lap, cradling her baby bump.

Alongside his wife, Prince Harry smiled while barefoot glaring into his wife's eyes. The 39-year-old mother of one wore a flowing dress that she first wore when she was pregnant with her first child, made by Carolina Herrera.

The news of their pregnancy came out on Valentine's Day. Prince Harry's father, the Prince of Wales, got the news that he will be a grandfather again, for the fifth time!

Prince Charles’ first-born son Prince William is already a dad to three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and baby Prince Louis. Prince Harry's announcement date is symbolic to him and their late mother, Princess Diana.

A royal reporter Omid Scobie, reportedly noted on Twitter, “It was exactly 37 years ago that Princess Diana shared with the world that she was pregnant with Prince Harry.” The reporter posted a snapshot of the newspaper taken years ago showing the late royal member alongside the post.

The front-page newspaper dates from February 14, 1984. Their pregnancy announcement honors Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

The couple has been residing at their new residence in Montecito, California, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The pair are also raising their first child at their home, who will soon become a big brother.

The 36-year-old Duke's second child will be eighth in line to the royal throne. When announcing that they are pregnant, they did not reveal any details regarding the baby's sex nor when Markle is due to give birth.

The picture shows that Markle’s growing baby bump looks very prominent. News of the couple’s pregnancy comes after the Duchess revealed in November that she suffered a miscarriage in July.
