Alton Brown Has Been Happily Married since 2018 — Meet His Second Wife Elizabeth

“Good Eats” star Alton Brown found love again in the arms of interior designer Elizabeth Ingram, his second wife. The duo has been happily married for almost three years.

Alton Brown has had an impressive career as a chef and cooking show host with his Food Network show, “Good Eats,” lasting 15 seasons since its inception in 1999. While his career has been smooth sailing, the same can’t be said for his love life.

His longtime marriage with his first wife, DeAnna, ended in 2015, leaving the television personality heartbroken. He, however, found love with interior designer Elizabeth Ingram and she became his second wife. Here is what you need to know about her.

MEET ELIZABETH INGRAM

According to reports, Ingram and Brown met in 2016, a year after his split from DeAnna during his book signing for his book, “EveryDayCook.” They first collaborated as professionals working together on a property.

Brown hired her to renovate his three-bedroom apartment he purchased in Marietta, Georgia. In an interview, Brown recalled that he unconsciously looked forward to spending more time with Ingram during the seven-month renovation.

The lovebirds bonded over a shared love for food, restaurants, and interior design as Brown was a fan of the interior designer. After a year of dating, the pair got engaged and walked down the aisle that same year.

The father-of-one admitted that he was “evilicious” in nature and used to work to avoid the rest of his life.

SHE CHANGED HIS LIFE FOR GOOD

In an interview with People Magazine, the 58-year-old spoke about how Ingram has changed his life since their meeting in 2016. The “Cutthroat Kitchen” star noted that Ingram’s hippy lifestyle had calmed him. In his words:

“Living with someone who’s a creative changes things because it changes the nature of what you can share and what you can expect people to understand.”

The father-of-one admitted that he was “evilicious” in nature and used to work to avoid the rest of his life. However, with his new wife, all that has changed, and he likes himself even better.

BROWN’S DIVORCE FROM DEANNA

DeAnna and Brown ended things after 21 years of marriage. During their time together, they welcomed a daughter Zoey, 21. Brown revealed in an interview that they went their separate ways and were better off for it.

DeAnna and Brown were devoted Southern Baptist members, but Brown left the church after the split because they tried to keep them together. He revealed that his social beliefs contradicted that of the religious organization.
