It has been reported that the former wife of Elvis Presley, Priscilla Presley, is downsizing and moving out of her Beverly Hills residence into a $4.8 million condo.
Located in Le Parc, a gated community of multimillion-dollar condos within the heart of Century City's bustling neighborhood, the penthouse is a luxurious and stylish space (See pictures here).
The property was originally constructed in 1979, but KMNelson Design remodeled it recently. It comes with the description "Exquisite European contemporary penthouse."
The public areas are decorated with white oak hardwood floors. It has a foyer leading into the living room, where there are a stone fireplace and a wet bar for serving guests.
An open balcony leads from the formal dining room and into the less formal den, which is basically a screening room with upgraded acoustics and a sound system.
The open design of the kitchen and its abundance of counter space and the Wolf and SubZero appliances and the marble finishes, make it the perfect space for all chefs.
All three bedrooms feature their own attached bathrooms, as well as skylights, double vanities, makeup stations, and steam showers. Additionally, the condo includes a powder room.
Upon being divorced from her husband, Elvis allegedly visited there to see their daughter.
Presley will pay $2,951 a month to reside in LeParc, which includes a manicured grounds. The fees also include two parking spaces, 24-hour management, a clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts.
Meanwhile, the Beverly Hills estate that Presley owned for several decades was sold for $13 million to a woman from Mainland China via Anaheim, California, in December 2020.
Originally, the business mogul, who was married to Elvis from 1967 until '73, listed her 8,952-square-foot, 7-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom villa in September 2020 for $16 million.
The fabulous home sits on over one acre of prime real estate in one of the most exclusive zip codes in the world – 90210 in Beverly Hills. Gated and meticulously preserved grounds provide privacy.
The mansion was believed to have been purchased by Presley in the 1970s when she was still married to Elvis. Upon being divorced from her husband, Elvis allegedly visited there to see their daughter.
Presley once called the house her sanctuary, telling an interviewer in 2018 she stayed there to be close to Lisa Marie. Being a little secluded with the gates, it provided her a place of refuge.
