'The Real's Loni Love Shares a Helpful Guide on How to Fight Sugar Cravings — See Her Tips

Loni Love has embarked on a journey to a better self, and what better way than to start than by loving her body. The 49-year-old is watching what she eats, and sugar does not make the list.
The co-host of "The Real" has chosen to stay away from sugary treats this month as part of the "No Sugar Challenge." While she is at it, she wanted to share some useful tips to nail it.

In an Instagram post, Love shared a graphic illustration with 6 tips to fight sugar cravings. "A couple of tips for those who are participating in the #NoSugarChallenge this month," she captioned it.
According to Love, quitting cold turkey with a friend, chewing gum, exercising, drinking water, replacing sugary treats with fruits, and eating regularly might keep someone from sticking their hands into a jar of cookies.
Her fans were quick to chime in and serve their own nuggets of wisdom in the comments section. Some asked questions, while others answered them and shared what works best for them diet-wise.

"Start the day with a bowl of veggies," one fan suggested. "Brush your teeth, brushing your teeth you won't want to put anything else on them," another fan quipped.
Like many others, Love did not feel the need to do something about her weight until she was too tired of being the way she was. All the small steps she took became a habit in the long run.
Love once went on a break from shooting "The Real" during which she did a weekend-long detox. The weekend quickly turned into 60 days even though quitting her vices, including alcohol and caffeine was hard.
Love made sure she added exercises in her daily routine. She would keep tabs on her weight, a habit that helped her understand her body better and make healthier food choices.
Although she is all about loving her body now, Love does realize how important it is to take things slow. She knows there are no quick fixes and results are not visible overnight.
