'House of Payne' Star China McClain Stuns Fans in Gorgeous Harley Quinn Cosplay — See Her Look
Known for her protagonist role as Jennifer Pierce in the "Black Lightning" series, actress China McClain transformed herself into one of the people's favorite DC Comics villains.
Former child actress China McClain recently delighted her social media fans after channeling a look far from what they are used to seeing her.
The 22-year-old actress, who also starred in the "House of Payne" series, took to Instagram to share videos of herself cosplaying into DC's character, Harley Quinn.
CHANNELING HER INNER VILLAIN
In the first video, McClain wore Quinn's iconic purple and pink hair and smeared eye makeup. She also donned a sequinned necklace and a silk mini dress.
The former Disney Channel star was in the zone on imitating Quinn's quirkiness and dubbing the fictional character's lines. McClain wrote in her post:
"Black Harley.?"
McClain also shared a similar video and revealed the details of her whole outfit. She completed her Quinn look with a chunky pair of nude-colored ankle boots.
The Atlanta-born actress played one of Michael Jackson's songs, "Bad," while in her chosen character. She expressed that she liked this kind of trend in TikTok.
Many fans in the comment section were impressed with McClain's videos as her character was on point. One user commented, "something I never knew I needed."

BUZZ CUT HAIR
The multi-talented actress hadn't just impressed her fans with her acting and dancing skills; she wowed her fans after sporting a buzz cut hair two years ago.
McClain finds it ironic that men want strong women, but they prioritize physical attributes over actual character.
LEAVING AN EMPOWERING MESSAGE
However, McClain's buzzcut hair earned negative comments from men on social media saying that women with short hair were less beautiful than those with long hair.
The "Descendants 3" star set the record straight with an empowering message. McClain, who started acting at the age of five, said that women cut their hair for various reasons.
She noted that public approval was not part of the reasons. McClain finds it ironic that men want strong women, but they prioritize physical attributes over actual character.
The "Daddy's Little Girls" alum also assured women with short hairstyles that they are "a piece of art" and there's a reason God made their hair optional.
