In December 2018, Magic Johnson's daughter, Elisa, escaped from armed burglars while staying in a rented San Fernando Valley house in L.A. with a group of friends.

The burglars held them at gunpoint, but Elisa managed to escape through the back door. The burglars walked away with jewelry and tech gadgets valued at around $30,000 to $40,000.
