Check Out Brooke Shields' Latest Health Update Following Her Agonizing Accident
Veteran actress Brooke Shields recently took to Instagram, giving fans an update on her broken arm and leg following an agonizing gym accident earlier in the year.
"Pretty Baby" star Brook Shields recently gave fans a health update after an accident in the gym left her with a broken leg back in January. Now, it appears the actress is well on her way to making a full recovery.
Taking to Instagram recently, Shields shared photos of herself in the hospital, with a bandaged leg and arm. The photo series also showed the actress with different medical devices.

Shields followed up the snapshots with a caption revealing that the pictures are throwbacks and adding that she has since experienced a lot of changes in her recovery journey.
Shortly after sharing the post, several of Shields' fans and followers took to the comments section, sharing their thoughts, sending prayers, and wishing the actress a quick recovery.
Some of Shields' famous friends like Sharon Stone and Mariska Hargitay also showed love to the 55-year-old actress. Popular actor Maria Hemingway also sent out his love to the ailing movie star.
Last month, Shields opened up about her accident, revealing that she broke her femur in a fall while working out on a balance board at the gym. The actress noted that she lost focus for a bit and ended up flying up in the air.
She played the role of a 12-year-old prostitute named Violet.
She explained that she was focused on recovering, adding that the injury is the biggest thing she has had to deal with physically. Shields, however, noted that she had no choice but to deal with the pain and difficulty.
Following the actress's gym accident, she was rushed to the hospital, where she underwent multiple surgeries and stayed for weeks. In addition to this, Shields also went through physical therapy, where she learned to walk again.
Shields first came into the limelight after starring in the 1978 movie "Pretty Baby" where she played a 12-year-old prostitute named Violet. Though the film was highly criticized, it ended up being her golden ticket to fame.
Speaking about this in 2018, Shields admitted that she does not regret taking on the role, adding that it was the most creative project she had ever worked on. She also described the cast and crew as the best group of people she has ever worked with.
From a controversial child star to one of the most reputable actresses in Hollywood, Shields has undoubtedly come a long way in her career.
