Catherine Zeta-Jones Posts TBT Photo as She Honors Remarkable Men, Kirk Douglas & Prince Philip
Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has paid tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, who died on Friday, April 9, with a throwback picture featuring her late father-in-law, Kirk Douglas.
Catherine Zeta-Jones joined the rest of the world in paying tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Elizabeth's husband, Prince Philip, who died on Friday, April 9, two months before his 100th birthday.
Taking to her Instagram page on Friday, Zeta-Jones shared a throwback snapshot showing her late father-in-law, Kirk Douglas, presenting the late Prince Philip with the replica of a Viking boat.

In the black-and-white photo, both men were clad in suits and beamed with smiles during the presentation, while two other men watched them from behind. In the post's caption, Zeta-Jones explained what was going on in the picture before adding:
"Sail Safe H.R.H."
She also added a praying hands emoji to her caption. The actress' fans took turns paying tribute to both men in the picture. One fan described Prince Philip and Kirk as two beautiful souls.
Another Instagram user wrote that the world misses Kirk and will always remember him before telling Zeta-Jones that her fans would always be there for her.
In a recent interview, she revealed the secret to their marriage.
Zeta-Jones' fans were there for her last month when she announced her cousin Gemma's sad passing. The beautiful actress posted a beautiful picture of her beloved cousin, who was born in 1983.
She accompanied the caption with a touching tribute in Gemma's honor. Zeta-Jones revealed Gemma died on February 13. She further said the deceased was truly a gem to everyone and an extraordinary mom to her five kids.
The actress concluded her caption by urging her fans to join her and her family in taking Gemma to her final resting place by leaving a light on for her that night.
Last December, Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas, paid tribute to Kirk to commemorate his posthumous 104th birthday. She shared a sweet black-and-white snapshot that showed her posing with Kirk. In the caption, she revealed she was missing him every day.
Michael posted a heartfelt video featuring a montage of pictures of him and his late father from across the decades. He thanked Kirk for always giving him the best advice.
Michael and Zeta-Jones have been married for 20 years and continue to go strong to date, much to the amazement of many. In a recent interview, she revealed the secret to their marriage.
The 51-year-old said they always have a lot of fun together. She also said that love and respect have been constant in their relationship, adding that they have never lost their sense of humor and enjoy each other's company.
