Daily Mail: Meghan Markle Does Not Want To Be the Focus at Prince Philip's Funeral
The Daily Mail reported that Meghan Markle does not want to be the focus at Prince Philip's funeral and will support her husband from the U.S.
Prince Harry arrived in the UK on Sunday and has now gone into quarantine at his UK residence, Frogmore Cottage, where his cousin, Princess Eugenie, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have resided.
Harry is set to quarantine for five days, instead of 10 days, if his COVID-19 test is negative under the regulations of the UK Government's Test to Release scheme.

The Duke of Sussex made the 10-hour flight from the US to the UK without his wife, Meghan Markle. It was first reported that she was not cleared to fly by her medical physician as she is six months pregnant.
However, a source close to the Duchess revealed that besides the important medical reasons for her not flying, Markle has her own personal reasons. The insider revealed to the Dail Mail:
"[She] doesn't want to be the center of attention."
Markle wants the focus to be on the family. She believes this is a good opportunity for Prince Harry to fix his relationship with his brother, Prince William, and their father, Prince Charles, who will attend the funeral.
In light of Philip's death, Markle said that she is willing to forgive and move forward because, in times like this, families should put their differences aside and come together and unite.
Markle's friends assured the outlet that Markle and Philip had a special bond, and she admired him.
Markle's main concern was to support Harry, and so it was ultimately up to him whether she attends or not. Apparently, Markle can travel to the UK at a later date, but her mother is against the idea.
Markle's mother, Doria, is adamant that Markle should not travel but instead support Harry from afar, at their home in California. Doria does not want Markle to put herself at risk, as the source explained:
"Like Harry, Doria is very protective of Meghan and doesn't want to see her putting her own health at risk. Stress is the last thing Meghan needs right now."
Despite not attending Prince Philip's funeral, which will occur on April 17, Markle's friends assured the outlet that Markle and Philip had a special bond, and she admired him.
It seems Queen Elizabeth is on Markle's side as she understands why Markle cannot attend and wants her future great-grandchild to be safe and healthy. Markle's absence will not affect their relationship.
As per COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral will only have 30 guests. Many of the royal's spouses, including Princess Eugenie's husband, will not be attending, so close family members can attend.
His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, passed away on April 9, 2021, at 99. His funeral will be held on April 17, 2021, at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
