The mother-daughter duo was seen enjoying a thrilling ride on a mechanical bull. Hawn and Hudson twinned in a matching white tank top and blue jeans ensemble with the “Overboard” actress holding her daughter.

The pair laughed loudly with their voluminous blonde hair blown by the wind. One could almost not tell the difference between them as Hawn and Hudson looked like twins in the throwback. In the accompanying caption, Hawn wrote:

For her big day, Hudson shared a touching video of her youngest daughter Rani Rose singing happy birthday on her page. In the caption, the “Fool’s Gold” star revealed she had to be on set early and missed her birthday snuggle.

As part of the magazine’s year Beautiful Issue, Hudson and Hawn played a game reenacting iconic lines from their most famous movies. One party would say the lines, and the other would guess what film it came from.

The pair was nervous about the competition, with the 42-year-old warning her 75-year-old mother that it would be a disaster. Although Hudson got the first guess of her mother’s line, Hawn failed to reciprocate the favor.

In an interview, the “First Wives Club” actress opened up about her children, Hudson, and Oliver’s parenting style and how it compared to hers and Kurt Russell. She described them as “unbelievable parents.”

The Academy Award winner noted that both Kate and Oliver mirrored how they were raised in how they brought up their children, and she couldn’t be more proud of their achievements.
