Al Roker Shares a Sweet Throwback Snap Posing With Daughter Leila in Front of the Eiffel Tower

TV weather forecaster Al Roker recently took his fans down memory lane, sharing a priceless throwback photo of himself with his daughter, Leila.

"Today" weather reporter Al Roker warmed his fans' hearts after he posted a throwback snap featuring Leila, his beautiful 22-year-old daughter.

The photo showed Roker and Leila standing before the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Roker lovingly embraced his daughter who was carrying a magazine and a phone.

The 66-year-old TV show personality and Leila were all smiles in the photo. According to Roker's post, it was taken on April 15, 2017 and his daughter was 19 then.

The "Wake Up With Al" star proudly shared that Leila was accepted into the American University of Paris for a journalism degree. The doting father wrote:

"Boy, that went fast! #tbt❤️"

Many fans and followers left heartwarming comments on the father-daughter duo's picture. Another fan expressed admiration for the veteran TV journalist for being a supportive dad.

Roker's throwback photo showed how much he was missing Leila, who returned to Paris after spending Christmas with her family in New York. She is in her final year in school and works as a freelance journalist.

Besides Leila, Roker has two other beautiful children who share a tight bond with him.

Although Roker and Leila live in distant places, they communicate regularly through social media apps like Instagram. Their fans were delighted when they bonded online in February together with her mom, Deborah Roberts.

Leila updated them about her life in Paris and admitted she struggles with being away from them. It was also a strange time for her with new routines to follow due to the pandemic.

Despite challenging times, Leila took time to appreciate and celebrate little things. When she marked her birthday last year, she dressed in beautiful clothes and indulged herself with a glass of wine.

What made her day more special was when Roker greeted her with a sweet birthday message. Prior to that, he went through a five-hour surgery because of prostate cancer.

Besides Leila, Roker has two other beautiful children who share a tight bond with him. He has an 18-year-old son named Nicholas Albert who has special needs and a 34-year-old daughter named Courtney.

The "Morning Show Mysteries" star shares Leila and Nicholas with his current wife, Roberts, also a veteran broadcast journalist. Meanwhile, he shares Courtney with his ex-wife, Alice Bell.
