Tika Sumpter Shares a Photo of Her Only Daughter in a Teal Dress but Had Her Face Covered

The gifted Tika Sumpter, rather private when it comes to her family, is a loving mother and fiancée with an empowering business to boot.

Actress Tika Sumpter took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her only daughter Ella-Loren. She was dressed in a teal dress but had her face covered.

Although her face was hidden, it's obvious to tell this little toddler is as cute as they come as she posed sweetly on the yellow shelf behind her. Ella appeared to be sporting a sparkling Alice band.

REMEMBER TO QUIET YOUR MIND

The young girl's teal dress flared slightly a the bottom with pink frills sticking out at the sleeves and a large printed flamingo animation on the side. Taking to the caption, Sumpter wrote:

"Go on. Go on now. 😘😘😘#HoldingSpace."

She covered the toddler's face with an image sourced from the Breethe App; a possible reminder that it's time to meditate. One of the followers related, writing, "I have a similar reminding me to drink water."

BEAUTY UNDER THE MASK

Ella's slightly ruffled hair stuck out slightly, revealing its dark blonde shades, which matched the yellow backdrop. One fan remarked that she is sure that her daughter is gorgeous because her mother is.

She said that speaking to her child as an adult would lead to better communication.

The admirers kept pouring in, commenting on how cute the little one looked and asking to see her face. They left around 3000 likes behind them.

ELLA TAKES ON THE WORLD

Sumpter welcomed newborn Ella in early October 2016. She kept her pregnancy a secret from the public eye for a long period, reflecting the privacy she maintains with her child at present.

When the toddler turned 4-years-old, the mother shared her secret to getting Ella to listen to her. She said that speaking to her child as an adult would lead to better communication, including listening skills.

A SPECIAL DAY FOR DAD

Ella's dad and Sumpter's fiancé Nick James turned 37 at the end of 2020. His to-be wife made sure to make the day extra-special.

She posted a touching tribute on her Instagram feed. In the caption, she referred to James as "the best." She also expressed gratitude for his ability to love her and Ella in the greatest way possible.

As a mother herself, it makes sense that Sumpter, along with Thai Randolph, launched a lifestyle brand targeted towards assist and ease the journey of motherhood for Black women. Randolph expressed:

“It’s shocking how undervalued the Back consumer mom segment is in the marketplace."

However, she predicted that in 2021 the combined buying power by Black purchasers would rise to over $1 trillion. She referred to the Black mothers as those who can open the door to this.
