Prayers are up for music star Fantasia Barrino and her family after sharing a soul-stirring image of her and her husband in the neonatal intensive unit where their new daughter, Keziah, was.

The photo posted on her Instagram page presented the singer holding hands with her husband, Kendall Taylor, as they sported hospital access tags on their wrists. The star couple did not show their faces in the picture.

Barrino captioned her post telling fans that she and Taylor were in the NICU. Many people did not hesitate to show their empathy, as they filed to the comments section.

Fans put up prayer and red heart emojis for the star. Well-wishers tried to reassure her that all would go well and her baby daughter would be home in no time.

On May 23, the "American Idol" champion announced that her daughter was born. Her post included a powerful message and an equally inspiring photo.

The picture was from her maternity shoot with the image of an elephant behind her. She wrote that her daughter's birth made her channel the traits of an elephant that included "patience, strength, and remembrance."

They both have children from previous relationships.

The mom-of-three later took to Instagram, sharing another look from her photoshoot session and letting her well-wishers know that baby Keziah was born a little earlier than expected.

She described the infant as a fighter, just like herself, and went on to described herself as determined, unbreakable, and persevering. Stars like Kandi Burruss showed love in the comment section.

Before this, the 37-year-old award-winning singer relayed on Tamron Hall's talk show that she felt good and her husband was a supportive person.

Barrino noted that mornings posed a challenge, but Taylor would remain by her side with the needed support. After Keziah was born, Taylor highly praised his wife's strength.

Last November, Barrino told fans about her pregnancy amid the discussions on her infertility struggles. Although baby Keziah is her first child with Taylor, they both have children from previous relationships.
