A mom caught much attention on social media after she shared that no one out of the 22 people invited turned up for her son's sixth birthday.

A TikTok user went viral after she shared a touching video and opened up on the heartbreaking situation during her son's sixth birthday party. She revealed that her invited guest bailed out on her son.

Dawn, with username, @dawners86 posted a video that opened to show a table covered in party props and yummy edibles, while her voice-over indicated that she was setting up the table for her son, JJ.

The mom gave a view of the vast expanse of the park where JJ's big day was set up. She showed the colorful playground swings and other child-friendly playtime props.

Dawn made it known that her party started half an hour ago, but none of the 22 invited guests were around. Although the sad mom got everything ready and laid out, no one was present.

She indicated in her video that she did know it was a pandemic, but the party was set up in an open space, and her province already gave passes for events to re-open.

She showed the little boy playing alone afar off. While Dawn filmed, the video got shaky, and she apologized for the unclear view because her feelings became overwhelming.

This caused quite a stir on social media, and before long, the Phoenix Suns got wind of it.

The video, which has since racked over two million views, had many TikTokers showing concern for Dawn's son. One person shared that they wanted to send gifts over to little JJ.

Another fan noted that the mom could try convincing her son that she got the date mixed up. A mom shared that she always tried to show up with her child because of times like this.

Dawn later replied to the concerned netizens, letting them know that she contacted some friends and family members. In the end, six people were able to make it to the park.

Another mom on Facebook also had to deal with a similar dilemma after her six-year-old son opted to have a party instead of going to Disney World or Legoland.

Sil Mazzini shared a post on social media presenting a picture of her little son, Teddy, sitting at a long empty table decked out at Peter Piper Pizza in Tucson. Pizza platters were laid out, but nobody was there to eat.

The mom noted that she had invited 40 people for Teddy's sixth birthday party, and no one showed up. This caused quite a stir among internet users, and before long, the Phoenix Suns got wind of it.

Although Mazzini shared that her son had barely noticed that no one was at his party, the Phoenix Suns shared that they would celebrate him again. Teddy also got four tickets to see their team's games.
