Gwen Stefani Dons Two Vera Wang Gowns Featuring Subtle Tributes to Blake Shelton & Her 3 Sons for Wedding Day
Pop singer Gwen Stefani and country music star Blake Shelton recently tied the knot, and she wore wedding gowns that included secret nods to her now-husband and children.
Gwen Stefani donned two Vera Wang gowns featuring subtle tributes to Blake Shelton and her three sons for their wedding day. Renowned fashion designer Vera Wang custom-made the two wedding dresses for Stefani.
The 72-year-old American designer, known for her signature bridal gowns, incorporated the songwriter’s edgy personality into the garments.

The first gown the bride wore for the nuptials was a custom lily-white silk georgette gown with a sweetheart plunging neckline, cut away back, fitted bodice, and high low hand tumbled tulle skirt.
The 51-year-old had on a white chapel-length veil, which featured the hand-embroidered names of Stefani, Shelton, and her sons Apollo, 7, Zuma, 12, and Kingston, 15.
According to People, a source once revealed the kids would “have a large part” in Stefani and Shelton’s ceremony. They were part of her dress too.
The gown also had a pair of hand-sewn love birds symbolizing the newly wedded couple highlighted hand-pieced silk, crystal, and sequin embroidered foliage around the waist onto the custom lily-white Italian silk skirt crepe and hand tumbled tulle strapless mini.
The three baby lovebirds representing Stefani’s boys were also on the ensemble. Stefani paired the look with sky-high stiletto white cowboy boots by Le Silla and a shorter veil adorned with floral appliques and a white bow.
She accessorized the gorgeous outfit with gold bangle bracelets, sparkling earrings, and a cross necklace. The “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of her big day.
Stefani shared beautiful photos of her and Shelton posing outside during dawn with him standing behind her and giving her a forehead kiss. Another one showed the pair in front of their five-tiered wedding cake with Stefani, writing:
“July 3rd, 2021, dreams do come true!!! @blakeshelton, I love you."
She also posted a solo black and white image wearing a party dress paired with a short veil with flowers embroidered on it and captioned the post: “You need a party dress when you get to marry @blakeshelton @verawang gx.”
Stefani also uploaded a boomerang beaming with pride wearing a floral silk robe with glamorous makeup including her signature red lip and had her blonde hair tied up in a bun and a white bow.
A photographic company shared a black and white image of Stefani in her wedding gown showing in full display while holding a bouquet. “Main character, energy @gwenstefani as a bride is EVERYTHING, the message noted.
Stefani and Shelton previously mentioned that they planned on making their wedding day a family affair, and she did not want to do it without her sons at their side.
The “Rich Girl” singer shares her children with her former husband, Gavin Rossdale. “Gwen’s sons are just solid, sweet kids, and they're excited for Blake and Gwen to get married. They can't wait to stand by their sides," an insider previously revealed in December 2020.
