A man was in the delivery room with his wife, excited to welcome their first child. Before commencing the delivery, the doctor informed the couple about a new technology in its experimental phase which allows pain-sharing.

Explaining further, the doctor told them that a willing participant could connect to his wife via electrodes so the duo could share the labor pain, hence reducing his wife's suffering.

The pain-sharing technology was designed to allow a prospective father to accept an amount of pain from his wife in 10 percent increments.

The man willingly agreed to embark on the pain-sharing experiment to make his wife's labor as seamless as possible. The doctors connected the electrodes and commenced the procedure.

They began with ten percent of the woman's pain just as she went into labor, wreathing and screaming in pain. However, the man felt nothing, so he asked the doctors to increase his amount by thirty percent.

The doctors did so. Still, the man felt nothing. He couldn't help but think that his wife and other women before her who have gone into labor had overestimated the pains of childbirth.

Looking at his wife's pale face as she endured her suffering, he prompted the doctor to give them equal amounts of the pain. While the woman still exhibited pain, which seemed more bearable compared to the onset of the labor, the man continued to feel nothing.

With a determined look, the man, who was by now feeling proud of his pain-endurance, asked the doctor to transfer a hundred percent of the pain to him. The doctor obliged, and the woman finally gave birth to a bouncing baby with no complications.

The next day, the man returned home to get some baby supplies, only to find the mail carrier lying dead on the steps of their apartment.

ANOTHER CHILDBIRTH JOKE

One day, a woman decided to visit the doctor to complain about some symptoms. After a series of tests, the doctor confirmed she was pregnant.

The woman felt anxious, as it was her first pregnancy, so she decided to clear her doubts with the doctor, who was eager to lecture her about her condition. The woman stated, "Well, I'm a little worried about the pain. How much will childbirth hurt?"

After careful consideration, the doctor answered, "Well, that varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy. Besides, it's difficult to describe pain."

The woman agreed with the doctor's explanation but still felt the need for some clarity. So she asked again, "I know. But can't you give me some idea?"

The doctor thought for a while before coming up with an idea. Turning to the woman with a serious expression, he said, "Grab your upper lip and pull it out a little…."

She did as he said and asked, "Like this?"

The doctor replied, "A little more."

The woman pulled harder and asked again, "Like this?"

Again, the doctor responded: "No, A little more."

She pulled even harder and asked, "Like this?"

The doctor looked satisfied and said, "Yes. Does that hurt?"

The pregnant woman replied, "Yes. A little bit."

The doctor said, "Good. Now stretch it over your head!"

Enjoyed the two jokes? Here is another one about a man who made a delivery to a mental asylum.
