A LOOK INTO STEVIE'S PERSONAL LIFE
Stevie had opened up about being bisexual on social media back in 2017. Stevie's biological father, Eric Hartter, was a tattoo artist who reportedly died of a drug overdose in 2019.
Their mother, Kimberly Anne Scott married rapper, Eminem in 1999, and they welcomed daughter Hailie Jade together. However, their marriage ended two years after and Kim had Stevie with Hartter after her split from the rapper.
Eminem legally adopted Stevie in 2005 after he reconciled with Kim. The star raised his daughter, Hailie, Stevie, and another adopted daughter, Alaina. Alaina's mother is Kim's sister, who died of a drug overdose in 2016.
Eminem and Kim's relationship was packed with lots of ups and downs. After the couple who met at a very young age remarried in 2006, the relationship soon went sore again, and they filled for a second divorced that year.
DETAILS OF STEVIE'S FAMILY
Although Kim now lives a reasonably private life, the mother-of-4, who became well-known thanks to the famous man she married, had revealed some details about herself in the past.
Coming from a family whose dad had a severe alcohol addiction, Kim had addiction issues of her own as a teenager. In 2015 she revealed that Eminem supported her while she battled her addiction.
However, the family is currently going through a hard time after Kim was reportedly hospitalized after a suicide attempt. Records showed that authorities received a call on July 30, 2021, about a suicidal attempt at Kim's home in Michigan.
She reportedly cut herself, minor lacerations on her legs, and blood was spilled all over the floor. Authorities transferred her to a hospital for medical and psychological examination, after which she returned home to recover.
The event occurred one week after Kim's mother, Kathleen Shuckburgh, passed away on July 23, 2021, at age 65. The funeral took place at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home on July 29, 2021.
