Boxing Legend Sugar Ray Leonard & His Beautiful Wife Celebrate Their 28th Anniversary
Congratulations are in order for boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard as he marks his 28th wedding anniversary with his adorable wife and mother of his kids.
Sugar Ray Leonard was famous in the 1980s for his skills in the ring. The boxing icon also amassed a great deal of wealth and had one of the most talked-about relationships.
He was married to his high school sweetheart named Juanita Wilkinson; their story seemed like a love affair from the fairytale, but things began to fall apart after a decade of commitment.

The former professional boxer and his first wife divorced in 1983. A few years later, he found love again, this time in the arms of one Bernadette Robi.
It has been nearly three decades, and the pair seem to be going stronger, with both parties keeping the fire burning. They recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary and Sugar Ray Leonard and his second wife went online to flaunt their happy-ever-after love story in detail.
Robi shared a throwback photo from their wedding ceremony. She looked stunning in a classy, white wedding gown, while the groom rocked a two-piece suit and bow tie.
Via the caption, she quipped: "The only word that comes to mind at this moment is gratitude!! So blessed and happy to call you my husband!! We have been through it all!! Keep believing and praying and working hard!! The best is yet to come."
To conclude the lengthy and heart-melting message, Robi extended a heart of appreciation and love to their kids and close friends who have been by their side throughout their journey as a couple.
Sugar Ray also added a few images online to mark the honorable day. There were precious moments from their wedding, from their dance to the pair walking hand in hand, with the beautiful bride holding an adorable bouquet in hand. His words on the post read:
"The years go by but my love remains! 28 years today! Happy Anniversary."
The former boxer is a father to four kids. He shares two sons named Ray Charles Jr. and Jarrel with Juanita, while his other two, Daniel Ray and Camille, are from his second marriage.
Like many famous names, Sugar Ray Leonard was a force to reckon with during his prime. However, he faced the terrors on the flip side of fame.
The boxing legend shared most of his life details in a book titled "The Big Fight: My Life In And Out Of The Ring." In the publication, he explained that it was not easy pursuing his dreams as a teenager because he faced abuse from a prominent coach.
The only way he could cope with keeping such a secret inside him for many years was to turn to drink and drug abuse. He later had to deal with being an absentee parent and infidelity, which cost him his first marriage.
As far as his career was concerned, he enjoyed an overwhelming victory, with medals and fame for some time, but later retired after an eye injury.
Despite having to deal with a few demons, his second wife Robi has stuck to his side, and Sugar Ray credits his family for being the support and blessing he needs.
