The Kris Kross glory days were short-lived but outstanding. See what Chris Smith, half of the duo, looks like now, and the path his career took, especially after the death of his former partner, Chris Kelly.

The group Kriss Kross was formed between two teenagers with identical names. They had no blood relationship asides from their names, talent, and strong love for each other.

These youngsters somersaulted to fame in 1992 and even earned the attention of the King of Pop, Michael Jackon, as they joined a support slot for his European Dangerous tour.

After releasing their third album, they went on a long hiatus. Kelly went on to study engineering but still had his love for music, so he founded a record label known as C Connection.

On the other hand, Smith majored in marketing and business management before forming his company labeled "One Life Entertainment, Inc."

In 2013, the group returned with a gig performance, in Fox Theatre, in their hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. Sadly, this same year, tragedy struck the former child stars.

Kelly was found unresponsive at his residence before the authorities rushed him to a medical center. He was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.

The C Connection founder was 34 years old when he died, and police hinted that it was due to drug overdose, considering that he was a drug user.

This was a bitter pill to swallow for the other Kris Kross member. Nevertheless, Smith poured out his heavy heart and admitted that things would never be the same with the absence of his best buddy.

Kelly continues to remain in the heart of his bandmate, who often shares details of their time as friends and even honors him posthumously.

In August, during what should have been his friend's birthday, Smith posted a throwback snap of the teenage Kris Kross band.

Smith is now a 42-year-old man with his enviable looks and boyish swag still intact, even though he looks very different from his teenage self.

The former entertainer is very interested in arts, culture, design, film and considers himself an artist. He has also explored his fashion side by dressing in unique outfits and also owns a clothing brand.

That is not all; the former Kris Kross member has a Website known as Urban Muse, where his rich and artistic works are pasted. He also shares his everyday lifestyle and hobbies, like reading books and basking in the warmness of the day.
