Girl Suffers Awkward Wardrobe Malfunction While Wearing Green Shorts for a Photo
After priming herself up to ace a planned photoshoot, a TikTok user discovered the hard way that her ensemble was not as perfect as she imagined.
Wardrobe malfunctions sometimes prove inevitable, even with the best fashion stylist on hand. However, no one seemed to have discovered the fault in TikToker Alyxmeade's perfectly matched outfit until the camera happened to point it out.
Taking to the platform, the TikToker, who was vacationing in London, recounted how her plans for a photoshoot to immortalize her trip to the legendary London Eye, was ruined by her outfit.
Before stepping out to hit the iconic Ferris wheel, Alyxmeade shared photos of herself looking ravishing in a white tank top, green biker shorts, and a green bag.
However, the outcome of her professional photo shoot was in direct contrast to her actual look. She shared the malfunction, beginning with a clip of her hitting the streets in the outfit, complete with a pair of white kicks and a handbag.
Alyxmeade radiated confidence as she filmed herself heading out for the shoot. She attached a screen caption to the video, which read, "when you think your green outfit is cute but wanna go on the London eye."
The clip then cuts to a picture from the professional photoshoot taken outside the attraction. However, her green biker shorts seemed completely gone, as they matched the color of the green screen behind her.
The overall effect was a greyish hue resonating with the background, making the girl seem to be floating in the air beside her friend, who luckily opted for pink shorts. She titled the video:
"Green screen doing me dirty."
Several users couldn't fathom why there was a green screen in the background at all. In response, Alyxmeade explained the green screen was always superimposed in the background to limit the error margin.
The video has since garnered over 2.7 million views, with most users finding the experience hilarious. One commenter wrote: "I hope the caption of your friend was 'my better half.' Lmao."
Most TikTokers wondered what the outcome would be if someone visited the attraction clad in an all-green ensemble. One user answered their curiosity, saying:
"This happened to me when I went to the London Eye. I was a floating head."
Many thanked the poster for giving them the heads up, lest they made a similar wardrobe malfunction during a trip to the London Eye. A comment read:
"I'm in London now so thanks for this tip cos I defo [sic] won't be wearing green."
Others could only appreciate the lady's gorgeous looks in the photo despite the frustrating wardrobe malfunction. It's safe to say it wasn't all bad after all.
