Jeremih's family noted that it is rare to see young men on ventilators—however, the virus drastically affected his system, leading to his admission to the Chicago ICU. With prayers and good health care, Jeremih eventually recovered.

He gained admission into the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, where he began studying engineering. After a semester, Jeremih moved to the department of Arts due to his love for music.

Some songs released by the singer include "Down On Me," "Love Don't Change," "Break Up To Make Up," " I Think Of You," "All The Time," and many more.

In remembrance of his late dad on Father's Day, Jeremih posted a montage of pictures that captured him, his sons, and his late dad.

JEREMIH'S ROMANCE WITH RACHEL LEIGH

Two years after releasing his first single, the record producer began a romantic relationship with reality TV star Rachel Leigh. The pair's romance started after the latter called it quits with her ex-boyfriend and reality TV co-star, Ryan Henry.

During an episode of the show, "Black Ink Crew Chicago," Leigh explained the reason behind their breakup. The mother of two noted that she had thought that she and Henry would be together forever, but that dream was cut short after she discovered that he was cheating on her.

She then began dating Jeremih to get Henry off her mind. Leigh and Jeremih often made the headlines due to their unending romance, but their union was short-lived and eventually ended in 2012.

Shortly after, Leigh opened up about their romance. The reality TV star made it public that during their relationship, Jeremih was very unsupportive. In addition, the "I Think Of You" singer was also described as a deadbeat.

JEREMIH AS A FATHER

Shortly after their breakup, the ex-lovers welcomed their son, Canyon Grey Felton. Gaining custody of their son required a custody battle between Leigh and Jeremih as the former leveled serious allegations about the latter.

Leigh said even though Henry was not her son's birth father, he was a better dad to Canyon than Jeremih. The father of two denied all allegations of being an absentee dad leveled against him.

Rather, he mentioned that he was denied access to his son, affecting him mentally. Jeremih and Leigh eventually went into a custody battle, which the songwriter won.

FATHER AND SON MOMENTS

Jeremih appears to have found love again in the arms of a beautiful woman called Courtney, and the pair are doting parents to their infant son, Pharaoh.

Shortly before Pharaoh was born, pictures of Courtney flaunting her baby bump during her baby shower were shared by a photography brand. In one of such pictures, Courtney looked elegant in a long brown sleeveless dress and posed next to Jeremih.

Pharaoh is now growing up quickly and enjoys spending time with his big brother. On the other hand, Jeremih appears to be enjoying fatherhood and flaunts moments with his sons on social media.

Like her former singer boyfriend, Leigh is also a doting mother to two children. She welcomed her first child, Mason, while in a relationship with her former partner Henry.

Leigh is in awe of her boys, and occasionally, she updates her fans with beautiful images of them. Last year, Leigh posted a short clip of her sons sitting together and having fun.

Mason wore an all-black outfit with a pair of glasses, while Canyon looked very cute in a white Nike short-sleeved t-shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers.

Some days later, Mason clocked 13, and Leigh took to her Instagram page to wish her son a happy birthday. She posted a monochrome throwback picture of the teenager donning a white outfit.

In the caption, she showed gratitude to her son for making her grow up very quickly and allowing her to act like a child again.
