Actress Lily Rabe & Longtime Partner Hamish Linklater Are Expecting Their Third Child

Actors Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater are about to add a third baby to their family of four. Notably, this would be Linklater’s fourth child in addition to his first from a previous relationship.

Lily Rabe’s rep confirmed to People recently that she is pregnant with her third child with Hamish Linklater. Rabe attended the Opening Gala for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

While in attendance at the occasion, she donned a black-and-white polka dot Carolina Herrera dress which featured dramatic off-the-shoulder-sleeves. She was also spotted cradling her apparent baby bumpy at the event.

While this will be her third child, it would be a fourth for her boyfriend Linklater, 45, who also has a 14-year-old daughter named Lucinda Rose from his previous relationship. Meanwhile, he and Rabe welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in 2017.

The 39-year-old actress announced her baby’s arrival in honor of International Women’s Day in March that year. The New Yorker posted an up-close shot snuggling up to her then newborn and captioned her post marking the special day stating that girls are magic.

In addition, the couple welcomed their second child together in June 2020. The Tony Award nominee teased the baby news and announced her pregnancy on Instagram that month by posting a visible image of her grown baby bump.

[Rabe and Linklater] are not only lovers but have a working relationship.

She also took to social media after the baby's birth and posted a picture of herself wearing a face mask as she caressed her stomach. According to Page Six, the couple's kids’ names are not yet public knowledge.

Rabe and the “Midnight Mass” star have been dating since 2013. According to E! News, the two are relatively private about their personal lives.

In addition, they are not only lovers but have a working relationship as they have co-starred before on stage and in film. In March, Rabe shared her experience about working alongside the father of her kids on Amazon's thriller series, "Tell Me Your Secrets."

She revealed that she was cast first for the series and that executive producer Bruna Papandrea said it was wild to have them share the same set.

Interestingly, while he knew that Rabe and Linklater were dating, the team did not. When the Massachusetts native's name came up for the part, he told them Linklater was involved with Rabe, and they had a family together, much to their shock.
