George Clooney, 60, and his wife, Amal Clooney, 43, were out on their first public date night since the pandemic started for last Sunday's Los Angeles premiere of "The Tender Bar."

During the outing, the couple was interviewed for E! News' Daily Pop and they dished about their twins, Alexander and Ella, 4.

"The Tender Bar" director revealed the strides his kids have made, like learning to swim. Besides that, the young children had also been encouraged to speak more than one language.

The Oscar Award winner confessed his children speak "fluent Italian." However, the funny thing about that was that Amal and George did not speak the European language, with the actor stating:

"That's a flaw in our logic, right there."

The star also revealed that the twins failed to interrupt him while he was working on "The Tender Bar." He explained that the COVID-19 lockdown was what saved him from his children who usually show up randomly on set and ruin his film's takes.

The duo [Ben Affleck and George Clooney] has never acted together before and Affleck said he was keen.

In July, a People source revealed that the Clooneys would be spending more family time together as they returned to their home in Lake Como, Italy after being away for two years. The source added that due to the pandemic, George and Amal got to prioritize their children and just take things one day at a time.

This bonding time must have also paved the way for the parents to instill some important lessons to their twins, or so it seems. Amal informed Entertainment Tonight during the premiere that George was actually a "great" teacher.

However, she also jokingly added that the main thing he was teaching the children was how to do pranks. Not moved by the criticism, George jokingly explained that he thought the pranks would pay off for his children in due time.

This past weekend's premiere also saw George linking up with one of the actors who star in his film, Ben Affleck. In the past, the pair had worked together to co-produce the movie "Argo."

Despite the two projects they've worked on, the duo has never acted together before, and Affleck said he was keen. But George jokingly revealed he thought them starring together would be too much sexiness for one screen!
