A young boy battling cancer was surprised to see different acts and performances in front of his window after being put in isolation.

It was unfortunate news when little boy Quinn Waters was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, brain cancer, in February 2019.

Doctors found a tumor on his brain stem the size of a lime. Although the doctors removed 95% of it, his immunity was depleted.

For safety, Quinn had to be isolated for 90 days. As a little boy, what Quinn endured was quite a challenge, so the community tried to help him feel loved and supported.

At first, family members and friends talked to him through the window to keep him company. Later, his mother’s police department dropped by on a motorcycle unit to cheer up the little boy.

When they posted about visiting Quinn on social media, the little boy’s visitors grew and grew until strangers wanted to help put a smile on the boy’s face.

Soon, performances took place outside of his window, including a theater group and a juggling group, as well as an Irish dance act.

It seems that communities really go the extra mile to make kids smile. Previously, young boy Harrison Haney was greeted by several superheroes during his birthday.

Famous sports icons such as New England Patriots players Stephon Gilmore and Tom Brady and Boston Bruins’ Charlie Coyle also extended their regards to Quinn.

Certainly, it took a village to make the then-three-year-old feel better. Quinn’s dad said, “Every single person who has shown up has done wonders for him.”

Sadly, earlier this year, two weeks before his fifth birthday, Quinn’s cancer returned. It was undoubtedly devastating news to hear for the boy’s family.

His new scans revealed two tiny brain tumors on another part of Quinn’s brain and are considered a metastatic disease. The only thing the family asks from the community is blood donations.

It seems communities really go the extra mile to make kids smile. Previously, young boy Harrison Haney was greeted by several superheroes who sang him a “Happy Birthday.”

Harrison suffered a rare form of lymphoma and had to celebrate his special day in a London, Ontario hospital. Still, a smile was brought to his face as soon as costumed people greeted him.

Another cancer warrior previously made headlines after her community stepped in to help raise funds when she was diagnosed with cancer a second time. Certainly, such stories continue to bring warmth to the hearts of readers.
