Prince Harry seems to have completely cut ties with his family. Recent reports claim that he has not spoken to his father for eight months. The hostility has reportedly cropped from Prince Charles questioning Archie's skin color.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit from their royal duties may have looked like a spur-of-the-moment decision, but the prince seems to have thought about his choices long and hard.

In new developments, reported by The Sun, Harry has allegedly not spoken to his father in eight months. The last time the two saw face-to-face was during Prince Phillip's funeral in April.

A SEVERED FATHER-SON RELATIONSHIP

The publication reports that the relationship between father and son has hit "an all-time low." Prince Charles remains "deeply shocked and hurt" after Harry and Markle opened up about their life at the palace during their Oprah interview.

Following the constant jibes at his family, the father-son relationship hangs in the balance. The two are said to have exchanged only a few 'fraught' phone calls between them since Harry exited the royal life.

Before their lives became a complicated maze of accusations, Charles was closer to Harry than William. He was also fond of Markle and even walked her down the aisle during her wedding.

However, since Harry chose to hang his royalty coat and leave, their relationship has seen more bad days than good.

In July, when Harry visited the U.K. for the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue, he allegedly did not meet his father. More shocking revelations disclose that Charles has yet to meet his granddaughter, Lilibet, now six months old.

CONCERNS OVER ARCHIE'S COMPLEXION

Among the many reasons that Harry opted out of his royal duties was the concern from the family about Archie's skin color.

During their highly publicized interview with Oprah in March, Harry and Markle disclosed that a family member had questioned what color their then-unborn son's skin would be. They, however, did not say who it was.

Since then, it has been a guessing game. And while some speculated it was the Queen or Prince Phillip, a new book "Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan" by Christopher Andersen, says it was Charles.

A source reports that Charles leaned over to his wife, Camilla, during Harry and Markle's engagement announcement and asked her how she thought the Sussex children would look.

Understandably taken aback by the question, Camilla said they would look gorgeous, to which Charles asked, as reported by Page Six:

"I mean, what do you think their children's complexion might be?"

However, a spokesman from Clarence House has come forward and insisted that the claims are nothing more than fiction and not worth further comment.
