Family Reunites Two Biological Sisters Who Were Separated by Different Adoptive Families
When the Blakes opened their hearts and home to a young girl in 2019, they thought their family was complete. But two and a half years later, they stumbled upon the missing piece in their family puzzle.
Adoption stories don't always end on a happy note. Often, families adopt one sibling from foster care, resulting in the separation of several brothers and sisters.
Sadly, many biological siblings are torn apart due to broken homes and varying adoption preferences. Something similar almost happened to two sisters when different adoptive families adopted them until things changed for the best.

HEARTS FILLED WITH LOVE
Tim and Steve Blake from Bulverde, Texas, knew their lives and home were missing something. When the realization came, they opted for adoption. Soon afterward, they welcomed Vicky from the foster system in 2019.
The two fathers thought their family was a perfect whole until they received an unexpected call one day. Vicky's baby sister, Miranda, was back in foster care and needed a loving home to call her own.
The Blakes agreed to open their home to 17-year-old Miranda without second thoughts. They couldn't bear the thought of her placement in another home.

AN EMOTIONAL REUNION
Also, it made sense for the Blakes to adopt Miranda because they wanted the two sisters to be together. On October 26, Miranda was placed with the Blake family.
Tim also shed light on the teenagers who suffer despite deserving love and care like little children.
Finally, in August 2021, Miranda's adoption became official. Her adoption day was also the day she reunited with her biological sister, Vicky.

SISTERLY LOVE
Miranda shared she always talked about Vicky to her old parents and couldn't wait to spend more time with her. Regarding the emotional reunion, Vicky revealed:
"The day that I came home and she was here I hugged her. We must have hugged for a good fifteen minutes."
The Blakes are now a happy family of four. The doting dads were prepared for the welcome change in their lives, and they had no regrets in bringing two sisters together.

DOTING DADS
Miranda's big sister was relieved to know she'd be with her sister and wouldn't have to worry about talking to her or finding out whether she was doing okay. An over-joyed Miranda expressed:
"I feel more loved than I've ever."
The two fathers were deeply touched as they watched their daughters crying tears of joy and sharing warm, sisterly hugs. Tim also shed light on the teenagers who suffer despite deserving love and care like little children.
We're beyond glad Vicky and Miranda are finally together and have two loving dads and a happy and supportive family. If you loved this adoption story with a happy ending, share it with your loved ones.
