Who Is Pastor Mike Todd? The Man Who Controversially Spat on a Churchgoer Is Also a Husband & a Doting Father
Pastor Mike Todd, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, broke his silence on his infamous spitting-on-a-congregation-member-of-his-church incident and admitted he should have delivered his message differently.
Well-known and followed Pastor Mike Todd made headlines this January after he controversially wiped his spit on a churchgoer's face while sharing his sermon that God's vision could be "nasty."
Todd is holding his spit in his hands in a viral video while discussing his sermon. He builds up his message and then wipes his saliva over a volunteer's face. The volunteer was his younger brother.

Later, the "Relationship Goals" author broke his silence on the
and said he watched the video and felt it was disgusting. He admitted he crossed a line while trying to make a point about God's vision.
Todd acknowledged that although Jesus could perform miracles with his spit, he did not have the same effect on his brother. He described the incident as a distraction from the message and said he would rethink and try something else.
Todd co-leads the Transformation Church in Tulsa with his wife, Natalie. The founding pastor, Bishop Cray McIntosh, entrusted the Todds with the church after operating the church for 15 years.
According to the Transformation Church website, the couple's passion is to show God to "the lost and found" for transformation. They aspire to reach the world with gospel presented in a "relevant and progressive way."
Todd has used his sermons and spiritual beliefs to become a well-known and successful author as he is the author of two books, "Relationship Goals," a best-seller, and "Crazy Faith."
Besides being dedicated to God, Todd is also a devoted husband and father. He and Natalie met in high school and had a brief relationship before going their separate ways and exploring the world apart.
Later, the couple found their way back together and married in 2010. In 2020, the Todds decided to mark their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows.
The Todds invited their fans and followers to watch their renewal ceremony on social media. The ceremony took place on a remote beach in Miami at sunset.
The couple has four adorable children, Isabella, Michael Jr., Ava, and Gia Todd. The children make regular appearances on Todd's Instagram account, where he shares updates on his life and insights into his beliefs with his Instagram followers.
