While pregnant with their little girl, Mel B returned to Leeds to think about their relationship. Murphy thought the singer had broken up with him, but Mel B claimed she would return. In the end, the television personality mentioned that Murphy "spectacularly dumped her."

Things got more heated between the duo when the comedian made a derogatory comment about his ex's pregnancy. He told a reporter that he was unsure about the child's paternity and could only be confident after a blood test was done.
