Christopher Walken is an Academy Award-winning actor who has starred in various movie roles, including "Catch Me If You Can," "Brainstorm," "The Deer Hunter," "Hairspray," "A View to a Kill," "Pulp Fiction," among other blockbusters.

In May 2022, Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve revealed that the spectacular actor would join the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' "Dune: Part Two."

For the Oscar-nominated space epic, Christopher Walken will reportedly play the role of the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV and is the latest actor to join the all-star ensemble.

Christopher will join recently announced cast members Florence Pugh and Austin Butler in addition to Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, and Josh Brolin. They will reprise their roles as production begins in the fall.

The actor, known to never turn down a role, remains successful and is admired by fans after many decades of acting. While he is famous in front of the camera, his wife Georgianne Walken has built a name for herself behind the scenes.

Georgianne, born on February 8, 1944, has worked as a casting director for films and TV shows like "Gardener of Eden," "The Sopranos," "Blind Date," and "King of the Jungle," and more.

In 1963, she acted with her husband in "West Side Story" and opposite him in the 1983 film "Brainstorm." The Emmy award-winning casting director also has one acting credit in "The Sopranos" in 2006.

When the couple met in 1963, Georgianne was an actress and a dancer. They starred in a touring production of "West Side Story" where she played his girlfriend.

Georgianne had never met anyone like him before. Christopher had a bright future; he was good at acting, and she could tell that he was going to get better.

In 1969, they tied the knot. Georgianne finds her marriage to Christopher interesting because of the characters he embodies. She said:

"You're always living with a different person. He never tells me what part he's playing when he's getting ready. It just descends on me one day."

The actress-turned-casting director, who takes delight in her husband's many roles, further revealed that there is always a twinkle in his eyes, no matter how scary his role is.

Despite being married for over five decades, Christopher says his life is quite conservative as he does not have any hobbies or children, does not care to travel and has never had a big social life.

Christopher has always been open about his decision to remain childless. He felt that his successful career would not have been possible if he had children.

The actor believed he made the right choice with his wife, who was on board with his decision. He said:

"I'm sure many of the kids I knew as a child would have continued in show business, but they had kids of their own, had to do something dependable. I didn't, so I could get by even in periods of unemployment."

Even though Christopher and Georgianne do not have children, they have responsibilities as they have their cats to look after and his brothers' children, who keep him busy when they visit.
