Jimmy Kimmel’s Wife Molly McNearney

Jimmy Kimmel is one of the most successful late-night talk show hosts in the United States, but he wouldn't have done it without his award-winning wife, Molly McNearney.

On June 8, 2022, President Joe Biden appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and talked about everything from gun violence and his family to climate change and the senators.

Interviewing the President of the United States is no easy feat, but Kimmel didn't get to do it alone. He probably would have never done it if it wasn't for his team, including his wife, Molly McNearney.

JIMMY KIMMEL'S WIFE, MOLLY MCNEARNEY

Born in March 1978, McNearney is an Emmy-nominated and WGA Award-winning writer best known for holding the position of co-head writer on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

She began working with Kimmel in 2003 when they created the show. McNearney started as a writer's assistant and is now at the top of the writer's hierarchy.

McNearney has also written for the Emmy Awards and the Oscars each time Kimmel has hosted them. But if working as a writer with one of the most successful talk show hosts wasn't good enough, she has also dipped her toes into acting.

Jimmy Kimmel's wife has appeared in "Fun Mom Dinner," "Murder Mystery," and two of Jennifer Aniston's projects, "Dumplin'" and "The Morning Show." Aniston and McNearney have been close friends for years.

Kimmel and McNearney's love story is one of a kind. They met in 2003 but kept things professional for years. When Kimmel wanted to date her, she only saw him as her boss, and "you don't date your boss."

One day in 2009, he casually asked every writer about their favorite foods. Kimmel then invited McNearney to his place and had prepared her five favorite meals from scratch.

She realized Kimmel was thoughtful and generous, and they gave love a chance. The couple tied the knot in July 2013 in Ojai, California, and invited multiple celebrities, including Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt.

DOES JIMMY KIMMEL HAVE CHILDREN?

Jimmy Kimmel's family got bigger right away. In July 2014, the couple welcomed Jane. In April 2017, William "Billy" John joined the brood.

Some claim that Kimmel cheated on Gina Maddy with [Sarah] Silverman.

Unfortunately, Billy was diagnosed with tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia – a congenital heart defect – shortly after being born. Kimmel has been open about his son's health struggles and surgeries.

The rest of Jimmy Kimmel's children are Katie, born in 1991, and Kevin, born in 1993, from his marriage to Gina Maddy. Katie is a ceramic artist and designer living in Hermosa, California.

On the other hand, Kevin followed in his dad's footsteps and has worked as a crew member in the television industry. The most famous shows Kevin has worked on are "Survivor" and "Big Brother: USA."

WHY DID JIMMY KIMMEL AND GINA KIMMEL DIVORCE?

Coming back to Gina and Jimmy Kimmel's marriage, they met during their college years at Arizona State University. The former couple married in 1988 but parted ways in 2002.

After divorcing Gina, Kimmel dated comedian Sarah Silverman. Some claim that Kimmel cheated on Gina Maddy with Silverman, but nobody confirmed it. Kimmel and McNearney look beautiful together. Way to go!
